How do I book on to a course?
Simply send us a message via our site or head over to our facebook page to drop us a message! Let us know which course you would like to attend and we will take it from there!

It is so important to chose the correct training academy. We are fully ABT Accredited and our trainers are highly qualified and knowledgable in the course they are teaching. We have very high standards to ensure you are getting the correct and best start to your career.
What's included in the course fee?
• Once successfully completed, you will receive an accredited diploma certificate.
• Receive in house training by a qualified teacher who also has many years experience within the beauty industry.
• A comprehensive training manual that you can take away with you.
• Some of our courses include a starter kit so you are ready to get out and build your business as soon as you leave Bijou!
• On going support - you will be added into our private group with other students in so if you need any further help, we will always be there!
What will I get out of the course?
You will have a fantastic start to your career by training with us! You will receive a certified diploma certificate and also on-going support including refresher days.
What shall I bring with me to my course?
All of our courses are different so please do read your welcome email which will explain everything you need to do before your course.
Who else will be on my course?
Other like minded students who want to further their career. We only allow 4 people per course to ensure you get the attention you need. Depending on how many book onto that date, it may just be you!
Do I need a starter kit?
All of the products included in the starter kit are products we will use on the day. We have made sure that each starter kit includes enough to complete at least 5 treatments. This means you could leave the course and start earning straight away! We understand everybody might not want a kit so please do message us and we will be happy to take this off the course fee!
Will I need to bring a model with me?
All courses are different. If you do need a model, we will mention this in your welcome email. Don't worry if you struggle to get a model, just let us know a few days before your course date.
Where does training take place?
Training takes place inside a private room within a successful salon based in Derby. There is free parking to the front and back of the salon.
Who are you accredited with?
We are accredited by both ABT & CBD Group! We wanted more than one accreditation so you know our courses are the best they can be!
What is accreditation?
Accreditation simply refers to if the course is recognised and validated by an external awarding or industry recognised body who will check the quality of the training course and provider. This ensures they are meeting a good standard of training and are sufficient in content so the student can succesfully learn the treatment and go on to safely practice the treatments in the industry.
Many new beauty training companies popping up claim to be accredited, however they are often just registered with a service which just validates how many hours the course entails, it doesn’t necessarily ensure any quality of course or standard of delivery.
Without the right accreditation you may end up with a certificate that is not recognised by professionals in the beauty industry! This means you may not be able to gain insurance (which is a must!) or be able to buy products from professional sources. Therefore, you may not end up being able to work with clients and to earn money.
Rest assured, all courses offered by Bijou Training Academy are accredited with recognised beauty industry bodies and accrediting partners. 8 of are accredited by Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT). 2 of them are accredited with CPD Group due to to being more technical (dermaplaning and fat dissolve).
This means the certificates you achieve will be recognised and valued by those in the industry and allow you to actually earn as a beauty professional.
